Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February, 2026

1. Introduction

JD Consultit ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") operates the TeamNexo mobile application (the "App"), a digital platform designed to assist parents, coaches, and sports league administrators in managing youth sports teams, including team rosters, schedules, communications, event coordination, and document sharing.

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, process, store, disclose, and safeguard personal information when users access or use the App.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App, including parents, guardians, coaches, league administrators, and other authorized users. It also applies to information relating to minors that is provided by parents or authorized adults for legitimate sports team management purposes.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with its terms. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must discontinue use of the App.

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

We collect personal information that users voluntarily provide to us, as well as certain technical information automatically collected when the App is used. The categories of information we may collect include the following:

A. Account Information

When users register for an account or interact with the App, we may collect:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Account login credentials (such as username and encrypted password)
  • Role designation (e.g., parent, coach, administrator)

This information is used to create and manage user accounts, authenticate access, and facilitate communications within the App.

If a user provides a mobile phone number, we may use that number to send transactional SMS messages related to account verification, login security, and team invitations. We do not use phone numbers collected through the App to send marketing or promotional text messages.

B. Minor Participant Information

Because the App is designed to support youth sports activities, it may contain personal information relating to minor participants. This information is provided by parents, guardians, or authorized team administrators and may include:

  • Child's first and last name
  • Team affiliation and participation details
  • Uploaded photographs
  • Uploaded documents related to sports participation
  • Documents that may contain date of birth or other identifying details

Minor information is collected solely for legitimate team management purposes and is controlled by the parent or authorized adult user who submits it.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement, and we do not use minor data for advertising or commercial profiling.

C. Device and Technical Information

When users access or interact with the App, certain information may be automatically collected, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Device type, model, and operating system
  • App version
  • Log files and usage activity
  • Session duration
  • Diagnostic data and performance metrics
  • Crash reports and error logs

This information helps us maintain system security, improve App functionality, detect misuse, and ensure performance reliability.

D. Communications Information

We may collect information contained in:

  • Messages sent within the App
  • Communications between users
  • Customer support inquiries
  • Feedback submissions

These communications are used to facilitate team coordination, respond to inquiries, and improve service quality.

Where applicable, these communications may be delivered through email, in-app messaging, push notifications, or transactional SMS.

Sensitive Information Notice

We do not intentionally request or require the submission of sensitive personal information (such as government-issued identification numbers, financial account numbers, health records, or biometric data). However, users may voluntarily upload documents that contain additional personal information. Users are responsible for ensuring that any uploaded content complies with applicable laws and necessary consent requirements.

If sensitive information is inadvertently uploaded, it will be processed only as necessary to provide App functionality and may be deleted upon request, subject to legal obligations.

3. Children's Privacy and COPPA Compliance

The TeamNexo App is designed for use by adults, including parents, legal guardians, coaches, and sports league administrators. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to independently create user accounts.

Because the App supports youth sports participation and may include personal information relating to children under the age of 13, we are committed to complying with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA").

Parental Control and Authorization

  • Accounts must be created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult.
  • By submitting information about a minor, the parent or guardian represents and warrants that they have the legal authority to provide that information and to consent to its processing.
  • We collect only the personal information reasonably necessary to facilitate legitimate sports team management and communication.
  • Children's personal information is used solely for operational purposes within the App.
  • We do not use children's personal information for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or marketing purposes.
  • We do not sell or rent children's personal information to third parties.

Verifiable Parental Consent

Where required by law, we may implement reasonable measures to confirm that the individual providing a child's information is the child's parent or legal guardian. Continued use of the App and submission of minor data constitutes affirmation of parental authority and consent.

Parental Rights Under COPPA

Parents and legal guardians have the right to:

  • Review the personal information we maintain about their child
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of their child's personal information
  • Refuse further collection or use of their child's data

To exercise these rights, parents may contact us at: support@teamnexo.app

We will respond to verified parental requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without proper parental authorization, we will promptly delete such information.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We process personal information for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

  • Creating and administering user accounts
  • Managing team rosters, event schedules, and league information
  • Facilitating communication among parents, coaches, and administrators

  • Hosting, storing, and displaying uploaded photos and documents
  • Providing technical support and responding to user inquiries
  • Improving App functionality, performance, and user experience
  • Monitoring for security threats, fraud, misuse, or violations of our Terms
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations

We process personal information only to the extent necessary to provide and maintain the App's services.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use children's data for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate legal bases for processing, including user consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, or compliance with legal obligations.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR Framework)

If the TeamNexo App is offered to users in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions applying similar data protection laws, we will process personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

We rely on one or more of the following legal bases for processing:

A. Consent

Where required, we process personal data based on the user's explicit consent, including where a parent or legal guardian provides consent for the processing of a minor's information. Users may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.

B. Contractual Necessity

We process personal data as necessary to perform our contractual obligations, including providing access to the App, managing accounts, facilitating communications, and delivering requested services.

C. Legitimate Interests

We may process personal data where necessary for our legitimate business interests, including:

  • Maintaining platform security
  • Preventing fraud and misuse
  • Improving App functionality and performance
  • Ensuring reliable service delivery

We balance these interests against users' privacy rights and will not process data where those rights override our legitimate interests.

D. Legal Compliance

We may process personal data where required to comply with legal obligations, court orders, regulatory requirements, or lawful government requests.

Data Subject Rights (GDPR)

Subject to applicable law, users located in GDPR-covered jurisdictions may have the right to:

  • Access their personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate information
  • Request erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Requests may be submitted to: support@teamnexo.app

We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against any user for exercising their privacy rights under California law. This includes denying services, charging different prices, or providing a different level or quality of service because a user exercised their rights.

7. Data Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for monetary or commercial gain.

We may disclose personal information only in the limited circumstances described below and solely for legitimate operational, legal, or security purposes.

Data Breach Response

In the event of a data security incident affecting personal information, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable laws, including investigation, mitigation, and notification where required.

When personal information is no longer necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, we will securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law.

Minor Information Retention

Information relating to minors will not be retained longer than necessary to provide team management services. Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of a child's information at any time, subject to limited legal exceptions.

Users may also initiate deletion of their account directly within the App's Settings section at any time.

10. User Data Deletion Requests

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information in either of the following ways:

  • Directly through the Settings section within the App, where users may initiate account deletion
  • By contacting us at support@teamnexo.app

When a deletion request is submitted through the App's Settings feature, the request will be automatically processed in accordance with our internal data deletion procedures.
