TeamNexo SMS Messaging Policy
TeamNexo is a mobile application that helps parents and coaches manage youth sports teams.
The application allows team managers to invite parents or guardians to participate in a team and allows users to securely authenticate their accounts.
TeamNexo uses SMS messaging strictly for transactional purposes.
TeamNexo does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
Types of SMS Messages
1. Team Invitations
A team manager may invite a parent or guardian to join a sports team by entering their mobile phone number in the TeamNexo mobile application.
The invited user receives a one-time SMS message that includes:
- the team name
- the role they are invited to
- a team code required to register
The recipient must download the TeamNexo mobile application and use the code to complete registration and join the team.

2. Account Verification Codes
Users may also receive SMS messages when they register or log into the TeamNexo mobile application.
During registration or login, users enter their phone number and request a verification code to confirm ownership of their phone number.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on user activity. Messages are only sent when triggered by actions such as:
- a team manager sending an invitation
- a user requesting an authentication code
TeamNexo does not send recurring promotional messages.
Consent to Receive Messages
Users consent to receive SMS messages from TeamNexo through the following actions:
- A team manager enters the user’s phone number to send a team invitation.
- The user enters their phone number in the TeamNexo mobile app and requests a verification code during registration or login.
Opt-Out
Users may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:
