How it works

Create and configure a team

Managers can create a team, define sport and location, and enable season tools like announcements and fees.

ManagerSetup

Manage your team workspace

Managers can run team operations from Team Home tabs: roster, events, fees, chat, documents, gallery, invites, and team settings.

ManagerManagement

Edit team details

From team settings, managers can update team name, club, city/state, description, sport, and other configuration details.

ManagerTeam Settings

Send invites by phone or email

Use the invite flow to send parent/player invitations through phone number or email. New members can join directly from the invitation.

ManagerInvites

SMS messaging flow and consent

SMS is used for invites and account-related updates. Users opt in by submitting/confirming their phone in TeamNexo and can stop messages any time by replying STOP.

ParentMessaging

Accept an invitation and join

Parents can open invitation links, join the team, and complete profile setup before accessing roster, docs, and events.

ParentOnboarding

Log in to TeamNexo

Use your registered phone number or email and password. If login fails, verify credentials and confirm you are using the same contact used for your invite/account.

ParentAccess

Reset or change your password

On login, tap Forgot password to request a reset code. Enter the code, set a new password, and sign in again. You can also update password from settings after login.

ParentSecurity

Select a player number

After approval, parents can claim available player numbers. If already taken, choose another. Managers can edit numbers later.

ParentRoster

Create a player profile

Parents can add a player from the Players screen, then join a team and complete any team-specific roster steps when required.

ParentPlayers

Edit player details

Managers can update roster details like jersey number and approved player information. Parents can also maintain their own child profile data.

ManagerRoster

Schedule practices and games

Create events in calendar/agenda view, choose event type, optional time, location, and game details including opposing team.

ManagerCalendar

Post announcements and polls

Managers can post updates and create polls with up to 4 options. Team members can vote once per poll.

ManagerAnnouncements

Manage documents and signed files

Managers upload forms, parents download/sign/upload, and managers review/download/print signed documents in dedicated screens.

ManagerDocuments

Documents full flow (manager + parent)

Managers upload templates from Files or Photos, parents submit signed versions, and managers review submissions on the signed-documents screen.

ManagerDocuments

Share photos and videos

Parents and managers can upload media to team gallery. Members can view in-app, swipe through media, and download to device photos.

ParentMedia

Reply by magic link (external)

External contacts can open a feedback link in the browser and reply without app login. Their response is posted back to the same feedback thread.

ParentFeedback

Pay fees and view payment history

Parents can see team fees and payment status. Users can access paid-fees history from the profile payment history screen.

ParentFees

Edit profile and account settings

Users can update profile preferences and account settings, including password changes and notification preferences, from settings screens.

ParentProfile

Profile security and payment history

Users can change phone/email using verification codes and open paid fees history from profile to review cross-team payment records.

ParentSecurity

Find and join teams

Use team search with code, club, city/state, and sport filters. Join directly when allowed, or use the invite code flow when invite-required is enabled.

ParentTeams

Invite roles and contact picker

Managers can bulk invite by phone/email, choose Parent/Delegate/Manager roles, and use contact picker for fast invite entry.

ManagerInvites

Roster approvals and moderation

Managers can approve pending players, edit jersey numbers by policy, retire pending invites, and remove players when needed.

ManagerRoster

Share a player with another parent

From player actions, send a share invite to another parent by phone or email so they can access that player after accepting.

ParentPlayers

Use the feedback hub

Create feedback threads per player, invite external contacts via magic link, and track unread responses from the feedback inbox.

ParentFeedback

Advanced events and RSVP tracking

Create recurring weekly events, set RSVP deadlines, send follow-up reminders, and review RSVP tracking by responded vs pending players.

ManagerCalendar

Advanced announcement setup

Managers can pick built-in/custom announcement types, add linked calendar items, and create polls with option controls.

ManagerAnnouncements

Chat reply, copy, and delete actions

Use swipe to reply and long-press for copy/delete actions. Users can delete their own messages, and managers/delegates can moderate team chat.

ParentChat

Team settings and custom sport setup

Managers can edit team fields and add a custom sport option directly from team settings, then save updates for the whole team.

ManagerTeam Settings

Leave a team

Parents can leave a team from the Teams screen. If their players are still on that roster, they must remove those players first.

ParentTeams

Manage subscription and purchase recovery

Use Settings to manage subscription billing in the store, refresh subscription status, or restore purchases if access does not update yet.

ParentSubscription

Delete a player

Removing a player from a team and deleting a player profile are different actions. Use Leave team or Remove player to take a player off a roster. Use Delete player from the Players screen only when you want to remove that player profile from your account after the player has left all teams.

ParentPlayers

Archive a team

Managers can archive a team from Team Settings to remove it from active use while keeping historical data intact.

ManagerTeam Settings

Remove a parent from a team

Managers can remove a parent membership only after that parent’s players have been removed from the roster.

FAQ

Can I invite by both phone and email?

Yes. Managers can send invitations to either phone numbers or email addresses.

Can users choose notification types?

Yes. Notification preferences can be enabled/disabled by category, including chat and announcements independently.

Who can access signed documents?

Signed documents are handled for manager review. Managers can download and print signed submissions.

Does the gallery open media inside the app?

Yes. TeamNexo supports in-app media viewing, swipe navigation, and device download options.

How do SMS messages work, and how do I stop them?

SMS is used for team invites and account-related notices. You agree by providing/confirming your phone number. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, or HELP for support options.

How do I leave a team?

Open the Teams screen, use the team actions menu, and choose Leave team. If your players are still on the roster, remove them from the team first.

What is the difference between Manage subscription, Restore purchases, and Refresh status?

Manage subscription opens store billing controls. Restore purchases reconnects purchases to your account. Refresh status re-checks your current subscription access.

Can I delete a player?

Yes, but only for full player-profile removal. If you only want the player off a team, use Leave team or Remove player from the roster flow. Delete player is for removing the player profile after the player has left all teams. If the player is shared, deleting removes only your access.

Can a manager end a team?

Managers archive teams instead of hard-deleting them. Archive removes the team from active use while preserving team history.
